Week 10 Russell Athletic Bowl Projections
After Florida State’s upset bid of No. 1 Clemson fell short, the ‘Noles are projected to come to Orlando by five media members. The media projected just one other ACC team, North Carolina. For the Big 12, Oklahoma State leads the projections with three. Two other Big 12 teams are projected to come to Orlando as well.
Here are your week five projections for the 26th Russell Athletic Bowl.

Mark Schlabach (ESPN): Florida State vs. TCU
Brett McMurphy (ESPN): North Carolina vs. West Virginia
Bill Bender (Sporting News): North Carolina vs. TCU

Bryan Fischer (Bleacher Report): Florida State vs. Oklahoma State
Pete Fiutak (Campus Insiders): North Carolina vs. TCU
Five media members have the Seminoles making their fourth appearance in the Russell Athletic Bowl, their first since 2011. Of their three projected opponents, just one has made a Russell Athletic Bowl appearance. Oklahoma met Clemson in the 2014 game. Oklahoma State and TCU would be making their Russell Athletic Bowl debuts.
The other ACC projection, North Carolina, has one appearance in the Russell Athletic Bowl but it came in 1995 when the game was played in Miami.
West Virginia would be making its fourth Russell Athletic Bowl appearance, the first since 2010.
