Camping World Signs On As Title Sponsor of Orlando Bowl
Earlier today, Marcus Lemonis, Chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises and host of CNBC’s “The Profit”, announced that Camping World has reached an agreement with Florida Citrus Sports to become the new title sponsor of the Orlando bowl most recently known as the Russell Athletic Bowl.
“Florida Citrus Sports is thrilled for the opportunity to deepen our relationship with Camping World, who has proven to be an incredible partner to our organization and to Orlando,” said Steve Hogan, CEO of FCSports. “We’re also humbled that they chose to partner with us again and believe that to be a testament to the value that our community, our stadium and our events can provide.”
This year’s Camping World Bowl marks the 28th edition of the game and features the top non-College Football Playoff selection from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the second non-CFP selection from the Big 12 Conference. The date and time of the game have not yet been announced but it will air live on ESPN.
The announcement comes just under a year after Camping World signed on as the title sponsor of the stadium and college football kickoff game in Orlando. Since taking over the naming rights, Camping World Stadium has hosted a number of world-class events including three college bowl games, MLS and NWSL soccer matches, a Guns n’ Roses concert ,the NFL Pro Bowl and most recently WrestleMania 33.
“We’re excited to extend our successful partnership with Florida Citrus Sports and the collegiate partners who participate in this great game each year,” said Lemonis. “The core platform we have in Orlando with the stadium naming rights and Camping World Kickoff game makes this expansion a natural fit.”
