Week 6 Russell Athletic Bowl Projections
Through six weeks of college football the media has predicted two different ACC teams plus Notre Dame and on the Big 12 side three different teams as well.
Here are your week five projections for the 26th Russell Athletic Bowl.
Jerry Palm (CBSSports.com): Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma State
Jason Kirk (SBNation): North Carolina vs. Oklahoma State
Jake Trotter (ESPN Big 12 Blog): Oklahoma
David Hale (ESPN ACC Blog): Florida State
Mark Schlabach (ESPN): Florida State vs. Oklahoma State
Brett McMurphy (ESPN): Notre Dame vs. West Virginia
Brant Parsons (Orlando Sentinel): Florida State vs. Oklahoma State
Bill Bender (Sporting News): Florida State vs. Oklahoma State
Bryan Fischer (Bleacher Report): Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma
Almost identical to last week’s projections, no new teams entered the projections and very few matchups changed. Mark Schlabach, Brett McMurphy, David Hale and College Sports Madness all had the same projections as last week.
Oklahoma State, who has never made a Russell Athletic Bowl appearance before, replaced West Virginia in two projections. However McMurphy still has the Mountaineers coming to Orlando to face Notre Dame.
Also moving back into the projections is 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl alum Oklahoma. Jake Trotter of ESPN has the Sooners returning to Orlando.
