The Florida Citrus Sports Communications Department looks forward to working with members of the media during the Pop-Tarts Bowl. If you are unable to locate the information you are searching for on this page, please contact us at media@fcsports.com and our team will be happy to assist you.

Credentials

Media may apply for credentials to the 2024 Pop-Tarts Bowl by clicking here. The deadline to apply is Friday, Dec. 20.

Florida Citrus Sports will review all applications with the athletic departments from each participating school, and final approval will come directly from Florida Citrus Sports. Outlets with the greatest need to cover the event in person will be prioritized during the approval process.

Credential pick-up locations and times will be provided after approval along with other pickup guidelines and media information. No credentials will be mailed.

Parking

A limited number of parking passes will be made available to media. Media may apply for parking passes during the credential application process. Parking passes will be issued based on availability and approval by the participating institutions’ sports information department and Florida Citrus Sports. Typically, one parking pass is issued for every two approved credentials per outlet. If approved, your parking pass will be to the e-mail address(es) listed on the credential application and may be used from a mobile phone.

Media Hotel

The Rosen Plaza is the official media hotel of the Pop-Tarts Bowl and is also the site of several media availability opportunities with participating teams, as well as our nightly media hospitality offerings. Rooms are available for credentialed media at a cost of $131/night plus taxes and fees, and a booking link will be provided with credential approval. For more information on the media hotel, please visit the Rosen Plaza website.

Credential Use

Media credentials are intended for working members of the press to obtain admittance to the Pop-Tarts Bowl and its ancillary media events.

Internet/Phone

The press box at Camping World Stadium is equipped with wireless internet and active ethernet ports at each seat. If your coverage requires a dedicated phone line or additional services, please contact us at media@fcsports.com at least two weeks in advance of the game.

Internet Policy

No online internet service will be allowed for “real-time” transmission of the Pop-Tarts Bowl. Only the game’s television rights holder, ESPN, is allowed “real-time” transmission during the event. “Real-Time” is defined as any online media providing live continual play-by-play coverage of an event. Outlets planning to cover the game using social media applications (such as Twitter and Instagram) should provide those handles on their credential application.

Photography Regulations

Photo passes will be issued only to accredited photographers and videographers on assignment and photographers authorized by Florida Citrus Sports. No freelance photographers will be granted credentials. PLEASE NOTE: Images taken at the Pop-Tarts Bowl may not be sold for profit without the expressed written consent of Florida Citrus Sports.

Photo passes grant access to the sidelines, photo workroom and/or press box, depending on an applicant’s role. Under NCAA rules, photographers are not allowed between the 25-yard lines and must remain outside the restraining lines surrounding the playing field. A photo vest will be required for all on-field photographers. Vests will be available in the photo workroom prior to the game.

Satellite Trucks

TV stations planning to bring satellite trucks to the game must indicate their interest in the post-approval form provided during the accreditation process. Space is limited and Florida Citrus Sports will work with your outlet directly regarding truck access and procedure.
